Kylie offers english-style horseback riding lessons in dressage and eventing to riders of all ages and levels. She is based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, but travels some to other nearby areas.
Kylie’s students learn how to take care of horses as well as ride with a secure, balanced seat. She wants her students to have a well-rounded education, so lessons are taught in a positive environment and tone, emphasizing fun and safety, as well as a solid knowledge of riding theory, horse care, and stable management.
Many of Kylie’s students compete in dressage, eventing, and pony club rallies, but she also has many students that just want to learn how to be better riders, be around horses, and learn how to take care of them. Kylie provides many opportunities for students at Oak View Farm who are interested in competing, cross-country schooling, or other outings, but does not expect or pressure any of her students to show. She emphasizes setting attainable, personal goals for each horse and rider, and helping them achieve those goals.
